Week Ending Saturday 29/11/2025
⛳ A Big Congratulations to Our Winners!
What a fantastic week of golf at Macksville Country Club! The course has been buzzing with great numbers, strong competition, and some outstanding performances across both the weekend and midweek events. A special highlight saw P. Donges produced an incredible eagle on the 1st hole on the 29th of November — a moment that certainly set the tone for an exciting week of golf.
Congratulations to all our winners and placegetters, including standout performances from players such as B. Veness, S. Hunt, M. Trisley, J. Fortescue, and M. Smith, who all claimed division honours in their respective events. Well done also to everyone who featured in the ball rundown and contributed to the strong scoring across the week.
Whether you shot the lights out or simply enjoyed the company and the walk, thank you for continuing to make MCC a great place to play golf and an even better community to be part of. Here’s to another great week ahead on the fairways!

Eclectic – Sunday 7/12/2025
Unfortunately, the Eclectic Playoff was unable to proceed as planned. Play was called off on the second hole after a severe thunderstorm moved across the course, bringing hail, lightning, and unsafe conditions for players and officials. With player safety always the top priority, the decision was made to suspend and postpone the event. A new date for the playoff will be announced shortly, and we thank all competitors for their understanding and patience.
The Eclectic Playoff will take place this Sunday, with players teeing off at 2:00 pm. Two groups of nine players will start from the 1st tee. After each hole, the player (or players) with the lowest Stableford score will be eliminated. No one will be eliminated on the first hole.
If players are tied for the lowest score at the end of a hole, a chip-off will determine who progresses. Players will chip from a marked area around the green, and the golfer whose ball finishes closest to the pin will advance.
The winners of each group will then face off on the 18th hole to decide the overall champion.
The two groups are as follows:
Group 1
- M. O’Brien
J. Welsh- R. McDonald
- P. Bambury
- R. Donnelly
- B. Forty
- K. Cooper
M. Baker- T. Grebert
Group 2
- M. Graham
- M. Simpson
- J. Wilkes
- M. Trisley
- A. Clarke
- J. Gore
- D. Luffman
