Week Ending Saturday 18/10/2025

Dear Members,

Better late than never! We hope you’ve had a great week and are enjoying this little bit of rain. It feels strange to be hoping for wet weather after the downpours we had earlier in the year, but it’s nice to see some of the wet stuff back on the ground. The timing has been perfect for the recent topdress and fertiliser application that Ricky has managed to get out during the week.

Last week saw some very tidy scores, helped along by the slightly slower greens following renovations, light winds, and plenty of runout on the fairways. Conditions were kind to those who kept the ball in play. 18 Players shooting 36 or better on the day, with Alan Clark (hcp 2) showing form with 41pts.

A warm welcome as well to all the new golf members who have joined Macksville Country Club recently. It’s great to have you on board and we look forward to seeing you out on the course.
