Golf Course Changes Proposal

It’s time to make a change. The golf course you know and love is outdated, and leadership has proposed altering the greens to bring it into the current century of golfing. We agree with them—this could be an exciting opportunity for members and visitors. If successful, we can usher in a new era of excellence for our beloved home course. Before you get too excited, it helps to understand what those proposals entail and how they might affect your experience at the green!

On Sunday, Club Chairman Brad Fortescue presented to a small group of golfing members to outline his thoughts on some exciting changes coming to the course. These changes include upgrades to the 5th, 7th and 8th tees and completely redoing the 4th, 6th and 7th greens. To accommodate the course repairs, Brad has suggested a couple of options for a new challenging layout that would allow for incorporating a Driving Range on the existing 1st and 10th. He also proposed changing tees and constructing a new green for a new 7th and 8th. Brad believes these changes will help move the club forward for years to come and invites all interested members to participate in the course walk to show the new developments and make the club even better. In addition to these exciting changes, the club will continue to offer traditional club favourites and member discounts. Watch your email and the club’s website for more information on the proposed changes.
